I use the WinTV-PVR-150 card with GBPVR. I stopped using the remote in favor of a wireless keyboard because when I used my TV's remote, the Hauppauge IR picked up on this and would start screwing up my GBPVR program. Is there a way to change the WinTV remote to a different signal or something so I won't run into this problem?

Thanks!

That's strange, I haven't heard of the signals conflicting. I'm pretty sure you can't change the signal, but I'd check with Hauppauge support, they might have some workaround.

you could disable the hauppauge software and use hip
may not work cause the frequencies will be the same
but if you used another old remote hip can learn the code through the hauppauge reciever
is it onlt certain buttons on your tv remote that does it ?

I have a 27" Philips Magnavox TV and it seems to be just certain buttons:

Power: Makes GBPVR go to Net Radio screen
Clock: Makes GBPVR go to Restore window and shifts the program offscreen. You have to right-click on the program in Task Bar and choose Maximize to get it to go back to normal.
Channel: moves thru the menu selections of GBPVR on the left of the screen.

There's another one that brings down the Start Menu but I can't remember which one. I haven't noticed anything affecting GBPVR from my other remotes (Emerson DVD/VCR, AWIA stereo, X10 controller), just this one.
