Hi All,
I'm going to be using an xml file for my EPG for the next little while and would like some clarification.
Here's what I plan to do:
dl the xml epg data at 2:00 am using windows task manager
after the dl I check to make sure that a file of sufficient size is created
once the file size is checked I move this file over t the real location
Will this work? Should I do this using updateEPG.bat instead? If I don't use updateEPG.bat does this mean my Update EPG button won't work in the gui?
One of the main things I'm concerned about is that there will be a short time where the xml file will be inaccessable. Will GPBVR be able to deal with this? Worse yet, will GBPVR lock the file when I try to update it manually?
Thanks,
Jam.z
