I just installed the latest version of GB-PVR and have also just installed a new Sound Blaster Audiogy SE sound card. Drivers for the card are working fine when playing a file through WMP. When I start up GB-PVR and go to play a recorded show, the WAV volume is dropped all the way down to zero.
Now, the Window's "master volume" doesn't move, just the WAV volume bar. If I keep GB-PVR in windowed mode I can raise the WAV volume bar back up and the audio is great.
ONCE I have raised the WAV volume bar up when GB-PVR is running, if I open another video file, still in GB-PVR, the WAV volume bar is dropped to zero again!
My MSI mobo has integrated 7.1 sound and was doing this problem with GB-PVR and that is why I went out and bought a sound blaster card thinking that would fix it, but no dice.
Any thoughts? Maybe my config settings? Is there a way in Windows to "lock" all your volume settings?
Thanks in advance.
