I know there is an item in the survival thread. I have applied the patch... new version of the pvxr2 executable. This problem has not been solved.

I actually run 2 seperate machines each with XP SP2, hauppage 150 MCE cards.

Neither machine had the signal strength issue. I updated 1 machine and one started having this message the other did not. Then I updated the other machine and both have the problem.

I have relocated 1 to another "good signal" location and problem remains.

Anyone continued to have the problem after applying the update? and more importantly anyone manage to solve it?

looking forward to some advice.
Thanks

You probably dont have that problem addressed in the survival guide thread. With that problem there is no actual signal strength issue, but when the user first views a channel they can see and hear the channel, but there is a popup on top of the video showing the full signal strength.

I'm assuming you're not seeing/hearing video? If thats the case, then its a different problem.

Zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Sounds like you dont have that file installed then.

Are you on vista? If so, its file protection might be getting in the way.
