Got mine today. Only ordered one. Plugged in and worked out of box. The orange screen at the beginning is different, but happy so far. Haven't tried the coax out yet, which is why I wanted it. Will use on a small TV with only coax in, in the corner of the living room where the kids play and can watch videos. Happy they finally decided to ship to Canada. It took quite a few weeks, but I was expecting that considering time of year and distance.

I received mine today, I haven't fired it up yet so I haven't left feedback.

Was anyone else unimpressed with the packing? Mine came with minimal bubble wrap (not taped onto it, just loose) in a largish box. A naked CD, no case/sleeve of any sort- I might have to try a scratch remover on it.

Don't even bother with the CD. It's most likely outdated anyway. You can download the latest versions of the drivers and apps from the MVP support section at http://www.hauppauge.com Smile

Ok, this is a Fun Thing.

I'd like to get one more, but I don't have any more ethernet/wireless adapters.

Anyone seen a good deal on the gaming adapters or whatever?

That would be a useful thing to add to this thread!

I also got one of these and it streams GREAT! But the pictures are pretty dark with a slight green hue. Im using the RCA cables into the TV. Im running through a Haupage 1600HVR so I cant use the software fix that apparently records shows brighter. Anyone else have this problem with one they purchased with this company?

My friend came home from the States, and now I finally got my MVP up and running. It works great Smile I have tried the s-video out, and it works, but it works really well with the composite, too. IMHO the image is not too dark, and definitely not green... perhaps a bit red, but nothing I couldn't adjust that in the tv's settings.

I use a Linksys WRT54Gs flashed with DD-WRT and the Tomato firmware for my wireless adapters. You can check to see what other routers are compatible with these firmwares on their websites.

http://www.dd-wrt.com
http://www.polarcloud.com/tomato

**Be careful though...the newer WRT54G don't flash as easily as they did before so I would suggest you look into other models that are compatible as they may be easier to flash.
