Installation: PsiParser.ax failed to register

I'm trying to install GBPVR on my laptop, and I get the following error message during installation:
Error 1904. Module C:\gbpvr\PsiParser.ax failed to register. HRESULT -2147010895. Contact your support personel.

I don't have a TV tuner on my laptop, but I hope to use it as a network TV client, with my desktop as the server.

Any ideas on what to try next?

Ah, that was it.

I needed to install the updated Microsoft C++ Runtime.
