Is SD QAM different than analog data?

Just curious... I'm unable to stream recorded mpeg file to my TiVo when recorded from the QAM source as I can for the analog recordings. (HVR-1600 using an ATI Mpeg mux for bda).

Is it different data content even though it's not HD? Or should I simply try other mux's to see if that will work better?

SD QAM is digital, just like HD.

All you can really try is other muxes.

Some stuff with digital can be different, and maybe enough to trip up TiVo - AC3 audio, widescreen, resolution, etc
