Hi there,

I'm using GB-PVR 1.0.16, and O2Grabber to pull EPG schedules. I live in Denmark.
The problem I have is that when I look at the TV guide for today, it is showing me yesterday's schedule.

I vaguely recall having heard of/experienced a similar problem before, and I believe it may be related to the time of day that the EPG download is performed?
I currently pull the schedules around 4:00 AM and update the GB-PVR EPG around 5:00 AM.

Can anyone enlighten me as to how to get this right?

Thanks in advance. Big Grin

There is no GB-PVR problem relating to this, otherwise we'd have other people with the same problem. I can only guess your xmltv file is wrong, or your PC timezone info is set wrong, or the PC time is set wrong.

Sorry Sub, I certainly didn't mean to imply that the issue must be with GB-PVR. I'm relatively certain that it's not, but I hoped someone here might know the solution - someone's bound to have experienced it as well.

Time zone and time are both correct. I've tried both enabling and disabling "Complete EPG reload", and using the "Empty EPG"->"Update EPG" - and doing a fresh grab in between every time. Still no luck.

Any ideas?

This type of things is usually hard to check in the logs, but hit the 'update epg' button in the config app, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and your xmltv file.

Many thanks for your kind offer, sub!
But I did a new batch of tests, and it seems my vague suspicions were validated. When I pull the EPG during daytime (and do an Update EPG in GB-PVR, of course), I get correct results. Funny thing is, I've always pulled the schedule during nighttime - and had no such problem.

I would feel bad about making you sweat over logfiles that might not provide any answers for a problem that doesn't seem to be with GB-PVR anyway. I guess I'll just have to keep moving my grab-time around until I get consistent results.

If others have had this experience and have enlightenment to shed - shed away, I say :-)
