HIgh CPU usage

Running 1.0.16 GBPVR. MY cpu sits at 100 percent usage is this normal? Have a sempron 3200+ with 512 meg of ram and a diamond7000 series 64 meg pci video card card and Hauppauge 250 tuner cardp. I am repalcing the video card with a Thinkcentre 128MB Ati Radeon X700 hopefully might reduce the strain some. Thanks

That sounds really high, but your video card like you thought is probably the trouble. My Celeron 1.8ghz machine runs at 30% CPU VMR9 with an ATI 9600pro.

Well I was right. Received the new video card today and the cpu usage dropped to about 30%. Not bad. Thansk for backing me up. Smile
