Recording only black with Nova-S plus and 1.0.16

Having just installed a Wintv nova-s plus with 4.0 drivers and 1.0.16 I seem to have a recording problem.
Live TV works fine and I can even pause it and resume, although the first pause gives a black screen for several seconds.
However, all recordings either scheduled or manual give me a black file with no sound (not zero size it just plays black). I get the impression that the Nova-s isn't being set to the correct channel. I've tried different bda mux settings to no avail.
I was wondering if anyone can help with this.

There are 2 recordings. The first was when I just pressed "record until leaving live tv" (Screen froze and then went black) The second was recording the current program from the tv guide

One further thing - I was getting the "no signal" popup until I applied the patch. Is this connected?

Since pausing live tv is working, and the recordings have a non-zero size, this makes me thing the recording is actually working but you having playback issues. The first thing I'd try is using different decoders to see if it helps - both audio and video.

I solved it !

Sometimes writing it down helps you to see clearer
Seems the recordings were trying to go to my old pvr350 card
WHen I deleted this everything works ok
