I have probem getting audio to work on Windows Vista with Twinhn DVB-T and HDTV broadcast on SVT-HD channel.
I have tried almost every audio codec, but I get no sound on the HDTV transmissions.
Regular DVB-T broadcasts on Vista works fine.
On a Windows XP PC, the audio to work with HDTV transmissions.

So why is Vista giving me headace?
Does anyone have any experience and can give any tips?
Best Regards

I'm pretty sure it'll just come down to the audio decoders you have installed. Maybe try installing AC3Filter.

Yes, it works with AC3Filter (1.46) but I MUST unregister other audio codecs in my system (InterVideo Audio Decoder, ffdshow Audio Decoder, CyberLink Audio Decoder(Twinhan). I have set <PreferredAudioH264Decoder>AC3Filter</PreferredAudioH264Decoder> but it behaves like it's set to "System Default" and the merrit kicks in.

Hmm.. I did some more testings. It seems like I have to select the same codec for SD TV and HD TV channels, then I don't have to unregister other audio codecs in my system (using a twinhan mantis/firedtv DVB-T device);

Code:
<PreferredAudioDecoder>AC3Filter</PreferredAudioDecoder>
<PreferredH264AudioDecoder>AC3Filter</PreferredH264AudioDecoder>

If I use below I won't get any audio of the H.264 channel and the LastGraph shows that it mounts InterVideo Audio Decoder and not AC3Filter when watching a H.264 channel.

Code:
<PreferredAudioDecoder>InterVideo Audio Decoder</PreferredAudioDecoder>
<PreferredH264AudioDecoder>AC3Filter</PreferredH264AudioDecoder>

So, well I don't know I'm just guessing, it seems like the construction of graph is made i different ways while watching MPEG2 or H264 channels.

PS! This is for GBPVR.EXE running on Vista, not PVRX2.
