Please help find a tool that can monitor a selected Digital channel.

Right now i use gbpvr "Digital channel mapping function" to get the information of a channel performance. Here i have to wait for all the first channel to be tested.

My problem is that i need to adjust analog antenna filters to match the requirements for my DVB-T Hauppauge T-500 card on channel 33, 43 and 53.

There was a UK version of the below but it seems to have gone. All I can find on the interweb is this one:-

http://nate.dynalias.net/ScanChannelsBDA...lsBDA.html

It will either scan the whole band, displaying mux's and channels or you can set it to one frequency and it displays a scrolling quality/strength figure. CMD/dosbox based. The thread about it on the UK Hauppauge site is at:- http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=8417

I tried TSLite, but it said that it couldn't show signal strength for my nova-t-500 card.

Yeah, tslite and tsreader do much better things if you have a supported tuner than having to use the generic DBA driver. Come on Hauppauge, write a driver for them!.

i use the generic bda driver as they don't have drivers for either of my cards, and i get signal strength readout for both of my cards, but i do remember reading something a while back the newer version of tsreader didn't report signal strength
I'm using 2.7.44 and it works great for me, I'd try and find that version and test it out and see what you get

The new TSReader 2.86a has this in the readme.

"Fixed an issue with all most Hauppauge source modules not working with 2.8.46 and added support for more Hauppauge interfaces and generic QAM-B cards."

I tested it and now works with Hauppauge HVR 1600.
