TaskImages displaying wrong on MVP

Sorry about this but it looks like writing a skin is a good way to find bugs :o

Since making my pvrx2 skin available on the wiki there have been a couple of reports that the taskimages don't show up on the main menu & ACTCMS seems to have basicly nailed down the problem in this message

Here may be a clue...

I have a 14" TV connected to an MVP, so I am testing your skin... nice

I have the MVP tab set to Blue-Retro-SHV skin.

If I set the General tab to Blue-Retro-SHV, I can see all the icons perfectly as well as your big fonts and stuff.
If I set the General tab to Blue, I can see the TV Guide, Recordings, Live TV and System icons perfectly - but they are not your icons. I can still see your big fonts and stuff.

I've not identified where the the alien icons come from yet, but the TV Guide is the standard Red/White on from the Blue skin.

I have since tried this out with the same result, the images it is showing are from your old blue skin in the "skin" directory but all the screens are from my Blue-Retro-SHV skin.

I then just copying the default blue skin, renaming it to blue-ti, un-remed the taskimage statement in the main menu skin & copied a few taskimages into it & found the same results with displaying the wrong old taskimages.

Umm sub I know you say "If I don't comment it generally means I have no opinion or comments either way." but I really would appreciate some comment about this either way. At least then I can either do some more testing or answer the questions in the thread & put something about the problem on the blue-retro-shv page on the wiki.

What does the 'Blue-Retro-SHV skin' consist of? Is it just the files that have changed, and relies on the fallback mechanism for locating all the other skin.xml files etc? If so, then its possible it expects the images to be in the same skin as it got those files from.

Just to clarify I have taken a copy of the new default blue skin from the skin2 directory re-named it Blue-Retro-SHV & basically changed every skin.xml to display the way I want them (testing every step of the way).

The only reference that I have been able to find to TaskImages is in the main menu skin (listed below as they are in Blue-Retro-SHV)

I decided to continue testing & as it is the only other skin for pvrx2 downloaded the community 3.0.1 skin & installed it on my test machine selected "blue" under the general tab in config & community3 under the MVP tab set it to start 1 server selected this server on my MVP & it displayed the community3 screen but with same wrong (old) taskimages from the old blue skin.

Can you tell me exactly what I need (step by step) to do to see this problem? I just downloaded your skin and extracted it to the skin2 subdirectory, and it seems to be showing me task images for all of the main menu buttons. Its possible I've fixed something post 1.0.16 which has affected this.

It's only a problem when you select a different skin for the MVP to the general skin (this is why I didn't pick it up when I was testing) as I just have the MVP skin set as "default"

Ok, I've confirmed this and fixed it for the next release.
