IMDB is not the way to do TV lookups; they just don't have the necessary information for TV shows and episodes. TheTVDB is now the place for that, and it has XML ready to go, so no scraping is even needed.

MyVideos is to date the only plugin that I know of that did proper TV lookups. VA doesn't, and neither does MovieWiz.

OK, no worries. I'm happy with it. I'm sure it would be a relatively trivial matter (I say this with no knowledge of how hard it really would be :p) for Javawiz to address the TVDB database as a default for TV Shows ...

hehe, I hope you're right! Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one here with ripped season DVD's of TV shows on their rig... no one else does that?

TheTVDB is now incorporated into MovieWiz and SearchWiz. In movie wiz, enter the title as seriesName|episodeName and it should find it on TheTvDb.
