Good point sub!
With that said, I tried recording with the cyberlink mux (thmpgmux.ax) 5.0.2022 and I got a good recording (1080i)! I have never had that before when using anything but the dvr-ms mux for recording. Only thing I can figure is I am now running on a new core 2 duo machine with vista...previously I was recording on a 1.8Gig p4 with xp. Not sure why the difference, since the old machine was only at 10% cpu when recording. If these results continue, I should be able to switch to streaming and be able to watch live tv on a client. Also, I am assuming I will be able to run comskip during recording?
Playback worked best with the cyberlink decoder version 6.0.0.3431 (clvsd.ax) and using evr with pvrx2. Playback showed a stutter free playback! By the way sub, having evr has allowed me use pvrx2 to watch videos on integrated graphics (intel 945gm) laptop! Before I had to use gbpvr, overlay, and intervideo decoders for playback.
Thanks for your great work!
