The current Net Radio is nice. However, it appears to use the "Quick Genre" list from Shoutcast, and display the top 20 by rank from each of those lists. That is fine if you like the quick genre's.
Would it be possible to add a search choice, which would key into shoutcast's search box? I could then enter a less popular genre (christian; bluegrass; others?) and return the top 20 from that search?
Alternatively, if we could define, perhaps in a config, a few more "user defined genre's" that would do the same, but would avoid having to make a text-entry box.
I know we can select some from shoutcast and paste them into the net radio favorites directory, but I don't have favorites yet. It would be a lot easier to explore and try them within the net radio player, and then move them to favorites if I like them. The titles displayed in Net Radio are better than those displayed in shoutcast as well.
Thanks
Chuck
