Has anyone any experience of multiple simultaneous recordings.

I currently have a Win Nova T500 and can record both channels no problems, I'm looking at possibly adding another T500 which could give me 4 channels being recorded at once.

My spec is shown below.

The questions I have are
i) Could the one disc support all 4 recordings
ii) Is it possible to split the recording channels to different disks (similar to mediaportal)
iii) Should I look at some form of RAID setup

Any suggestions would be great.

I have recorded both channels of the nova-t-500, one analogue from PVR15 and one DVB from a USB plug in thing. The disk was rattling around a bit but I didn't notice a problem, just a SATA 500gb. defragged when I remember!.

Currently there is only one record path with gbpvr.

IIRC someone on here has a 7 tuner setup working without problems.

Multiple tuner setups are generally no problem. Modern disks handle the load easilly. The defrag problem I tackled by calling contig.exe from the postprocessing.bat file

contig can be downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinte...ontig.mspx

The command in postprocessing looks as follows
start /low /wait /b /min contig %1
