Resume jumps to start of show on Resume Restart screen?

Recently I have started having problems with resume. The recording now always jumps to the start of the show when I press "Resume" on the Resume Restart screen?

e.h. I watch 1/2 show one day turn off the MVP, came back the next night and it prompts to resume, but then jumps to the start of the show anway?? (This is from Xrecord btw, but presumably it's in the base program anyway?)
