I went from copper to fiber, no big deal, still an analog cable signal.
Uninstalled everything, and reinstall with the last drivers available for my PVR 250 and then installed the latest GBPVR.
Went through all the routines (my own directions kept in the Wiki), ran Tuning assistant, wrote down the channels etc, keyed them in in config.
To make a long story short, the same old routine.
So when I turn on live TV in GBPVR it shows the last channel chosen in Hauppage Wintv 2000 , although Wintv 2000 is then disengaged. When i cahnge channels in GBPVR, it goes up or down, whetever i choose, shows the differnt cahnnel names, the logo's etc. But the channel stays that same channel.
When I go to TVguide click random on a channel, I only receive noise.
Any idea what's going on????
BTW I can change channels watching live TV in Wintv 2000 very well, no prob at all.

cheers,

I'd check the channel numbers listed in the capture source channel list.

Hi Sub,

Long time no see Smile. THX 4 the answer. But I did; they are the channel numbers tuning assistent gave me. But I ran over everything again and discovered that in capture card settings I chose "antenna" and in capture source "cable" syncing that solved the problem.
So the lesson here is: never rely on routine, but check, recheck and double check!
Sorry for wasting your time!
But I will probably be back here when i change in the near future to HD.
