I've been distracted, but finally gave this another shot. I still don't know what is going on with my office PC where I was testing, but I tried it on my HTPC server and it found the channels right away, no problem.

GB-PVR does not access the lineup.xml file directly. GB-PVR uses the HDHomeRun BDA DirectShow filters. Those filters check the lineup.xml file to see if remapping has to be done. Here are a couple or things that you can do to troubleshoot.

Make sure the lineup.xml file on both machines match. You can copy the one from the working machine to the other.

Make sure that your Windows firewall is not blocking the traffic from the HDHomeRun. Disable the firewall or add exceptions for GBPVRRecordingService.exe, Config.exe, GBPVR.exe and PVRX2.exe

If you are running another software firewall, you may need to uninstall it. Some software firewalls cannot handle the datastream.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't run any firewalls and i actually copied the lineup.xml from the broken machine to the working one  I was too lazy to type it all in again.

I'm sure there is some silly thing I have overlooked, but actually I don't need it to run on the first machine anyway. I was just testing there, that machine will only be a client if I convert to GB-PVR. The working one will be the server, so it is the one that needs it to workSmile
