Yea....my bad....I screwed up an if statement.....try the attached....that's what I get for making changes late at night.....

Holy cow!...it now searches the entire database in about 1 second. This is great work. If you ever need a tester for anything else please let me know.

I am going to put a few more tweaks in so I will probably post at least one more beta in this thread.....

Added a few minor tweaks to this beta....let me know how it works for you. Check case sensitive searches as well as searches with date, time and date and time parameters. Seems to be working very well for me.

I don't know what you've changed, but something that used to work now doesn't:confused: anymore?

I used to be able to choose a channel ONLY (no times, no dates, no search details at all) and it would give me the whole EPG for that channel. This doesn't seem to work now? .... no results

Simialrly for a search for Movies, which chose 3 channels and sets times 110 to 240 mins long .... no results. (I have 1-2 weeks EPG data).

Another oddity is when I search it comes up with some REALLY OLD shows which should NOT be in the EPG anymore? (I attach an example).

p.s. If you're doing search changes... :-)

I'll have a look tonight....thanks for reporting the bug.

Ohhh...and the old shows.....I assume it is the one in grey.....I belive they are actually in a deleted status (check the color coding guide link)......I'll take a look at that as well.....they just need to be filtered out.

Search still performs great. One more bug though.

The Genre category seems to have the same entry many times. I attach a screenshot. Each category appears anywhere from 1 to 30 times.

Actually that is a GBPVR bug....read this thread on how to handle it.

This will probably be the last beta before I do a full release......let me know how it works. There was major work on all search options....resulting in much faster response time....whether you are searching for partial text matches or just bringing up programmes based off of selected genre.

Edit: Changes now in build 72 with some additional enhancements.
