I can check for the windows firewall. I disabled it originally but I know it can be reactivated after certain patches.

I am not at home so I can't check, but I think "Dongle.bin" is how the dongle that came with 1.1.5 is named, I never renamed it. I can look, however. BTW the dongle that came with my MVP is 1.1.38, I can see it in the MVP "preferred server" menu when I set my server to be the preferred server.

Last attempt before deleting GBPVR/deleting the directory/reinstalling

Tried upgrading comskip to version 113 - Nope
Checked for a firewall - Nope
Tried running with GBPVR as the server instead of PVRX2 - Nope

These are the errors. #1 is after a pause, and #2 when I press the blue key:

I guess I am reinstalling?

Sorted this out.

I had the MVP resolution set to:

x:700
y:460
x off:0
y off:20

because I have an older HDTV with an odd resolution. Every time I brought up the overlay, whether through the blue button, pausing, etc it caused an MVP crash.

Odd - but I'm glad you found something to fix it.
