but I think the main point is that both mine and macgyver's systems are not configured to transcode recordings, so these entries should not be appearing in the table at all.

It's not a biggie so I'll keep my eye on the transcode_queue table and try and figure out what is casuing these entries to be added.

cheers
No worries - I didnt miss the point, but I was trying to get someone else to help me do the leg work to find the cause of this problem I've seen in the logs a few times in the past.

Hi Sub

Thanks for the replies. The config.xml is in my original attachment, I thought you might need it.
I'm on UK time so time difference may be an issue here but I'm ready to supply whatever you need. I've stuck my whole db at b2it.com/gbpvr/gbpvrdb.zip so feel free to download and take a look.
Anything else you need just let me know - I'm ready to do the leg work.
Thanks again.

do you use the tvlistings plugin or the built in tv guide?

My system is completely standard apart from MusicLibrary2.
For the record, I'm using 1.1.5 and we only use GBPVR via MVPs running mvpmc. Server is XP.
The only other thing I can think off that happened recently is when the Radio Times listings went titsup I did switch to DVB EPG for a day or so and then switched back again when it returned.

Still getting these errors so I had a look at my transcode table and there were loads of entries so I deleted them.
I've just had another look today and there are more entries in there. I can't see any pattern but I have noticed that the conversion_profile column in the recording_schedule table is a mixture of NULLs and blanks (the majority) - could this be an issue?
Strange thing is the programme (Breakfast) that is producing the errors in the log today did not appear to be one of those in the transcode table.
My database is still available online if you want to download and inspect.
Cheers, and thanks in advance.

I am seeing this same problem using 1.2.9 on Windows XP. I am using two MVPs. I have a single PVR-500. I do not transcode anything. I see this same error constantly from 1AM to 6AM. I checked my config and verified that I have no automatic conversions. But the time period for conversions is set to 1AM to 6AM. Does editing the data base solve this problem? Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

The attached patch should resolve the issue.
