Watch live TV without EPG

Hi,

I am new here. Just bought the Hauppauge! HVR-1300. Also download and installed GB-PVR. However I can't watch live TV. It keep asking to use the configuration tool to set up the EPG. However I don't have the EPG. So I can't never setup the channel.

When I used the tunning assistance, it picked up the channels. But it doesn't help in anyway.

I must be missing something. I appreciate your helps.

GB-PVR is designed around TV listings etc, so it pretty much needs it. The easiest fix would be to get a proper EPG. TVXB from http://www.tvxb.com/ provides a free set of listings for Singapore.

If you just want to watch TV and not worry about EPGs etc, then you might be better for just using a simple app like the Hauppauge WinTV software.
