I've just seen some strange behaviour with a couple of test recordings. Logs included.

I was testing the honour padding setting - at about 18:39 I selected Heartbeat from the TV Guide and used Quick Rec. I then selected The Two Ronnies on the same channel and immediately following Heartbeat - again Quick Rec.

Heartbeat scheduled endtime was 18:50 but the Quick Rec. would have added 5 mins post-padding. The Two Ronnis would have had 2 mins pre-padding added.

I watched the Recording Status systray app. My first Nova-t showed it was recording Heartbeat then, for a brief moment at 18:48, it showed Sleeping. It then came back showing it was recording Heartbeat.

The log shows that at 18:48, the rec. service had started to record the Two Ronnies seemingly on the same tuner.

Is/was this a known issue? I haven't applied all of the patches for 1.1.5 - only ones that looked relevant.

Cheers,
Brian

Hmmm - yes possibly. The Two Ronnies started when it should have (using 2 mins pre-padding) and seemed to kill the Heartbeat recording which had 2 minutes of 'real' recording time left not including its post-padding.

I'll investigate the patch in that thread - I don't think I've applied that one.

Brian

Looks like it's fixed.

I hadn't applied that patch as I hadn't been seeing this problem until earlier today when I set the PreferAlternatingCaptureSources setting to false. I'd had it set to true for some time as I have plenty of cap. sources and rarely if ever, see conflicts.

Cheers,
Brian
