Recording stopped after only 5 min.

I had a recording scheduled for 3 am last night. When I woke up this morning I found out that it only recorded slightly over 5 min of footage. I checked free HD space and there was more than enough to hold the recording. Is there any place I can look to see what might have happened?

You could look in the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log file. If there is now errors in the log during the time period of the recording, then you may have an IRQ conflict. This is known problem with the Hauppauge drivers, which can cause it to just stop producing MPEG2 data. Can you make long recordings on any other software? WinTV2000?

I have done other succefull recordings in gbpvr, just that one failed. Unfortunately I have restarted since then and my log doesn't go back that far now. I'll just have to see how today's recordings go. Thanks for the info sub.
