For those of you using the CyberLink decoder, are you purchasing PowerDVD to get the decoder? I don't see another way to do this?

A lot of people got a free version of PowerDVD when then bought their DVD drive. Some get the Cyberlink decoders because it was supplied with the software that came with their TV card (Twinhan devices etc). Some other people are downloading the less legal versions of PowerDVD from the internet.

I downloaded the trial version of PowerDVD, and even after the trial period is over for using the PowerDVD app. the decoder still seems to work in GBPVR. I think so anyway, as I can still playback the DVB-T video being trial broadcast in NZ.

OK, cool. I need a new DVD player anyway, maybe I'll look for one with the decoder. I'm on the fence, trying to decide whether to try that decoder, or whether to try a jump to Vista to finally get rid of my stuttering.
