sub,
I do an enormous amount of media monitoring (we're talking close to 200 hours per week) so I just don't have the hard drive space for higher quality recordings which is why I use VCD mode with WinTV2000.
Last night I selected "Intervideo NonCSS decoder" on the playback tap of the config app and the picture would still stall for seconds at a time and the sound continued to have static. This is exactly what happened when I tried Sage TV so I don't know what's going on. For whatever reason it doesn't happen with WinTV2000 which is good but I don't think it can be used with two cards which is why I was experimenting with this program.
I'm in Canada and I used the tuning assistant and it found some channels but they don't show up on the screen even though I can actually see the channel numbers and program descriptions (the channels also show up in the TV guide).
It's probably not worth trying to resolve these issues since I need a program that can record in VCD.
However, although it didn't work out for me from what I saw of the software it really does look like you have a winner on your hands. The interface is nice and the EPG looks very sweet. I'm going to keep track of program develops and will not hesitate to recommend it to others.
Thanks for all of the help.
