Not sure what I have done . EPG was working, but then I explored the config program, and now it doesn't Wink.

Version 1.1.5

Zip of config.log.exe attached.

Have tried uninstalling, reinstalling both BGPVR and .NET 1, 2 & 3, and fiddling with settings Rolleyes.

What other info would be useful for me to provide?

It fails with

2008-02-28 20:01:49.484 ERROR [5] Unexpected failed in DvbEpgReader.LoadChannels(): System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Do you have a C:\Temp directory?

Thank you! That was quick.

I added C:\Temp and the EPG downloaded and works from the main menu. If I press F1 while watching TV, it doesn't bring up the mini EPG guide, although it appears to be in it, as I have to press ESC twice to get back to the main menu after pressing F1, versus pressing ESC just once to get back while just watching TV.

Some errors in the logs below, zip attached. The "Unable to find brush node:" looks to me as though it happens when it tries to display the quick guide.

Its because you're using an old version of the Cyberlink decoder which isnt compatible with VMR9. Try a different decoder.

Hmm. Ok. Thanks. I will have to investigate that. To be honest, I'm not all that great with figuring these things out. I think Cyberlink is a DVD player that came preinstalled, so I'm not sure how that affects TV.

It was working before, so I've obviously changed something to break it, but I don't know what. Its just a bit strange that uninstalling and reinstalling didn't reset everything back.

Here is what I have tried changing in Config since your reply

under [Playback]
- changed values for "Video Decoder" under "Software MPEG-2 Playback" - values were System Default, Cyberlink, Nero and MPEG 2
- changed values for "Video Renderer" under "PVRX2.exe Video Renderer" - values were VRM9, VRM9 Full screen and EVR

None worked.

I appreciate all your help.

Try installing the MPV decoder from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm.

If that doesnt seem to help, then try posting the logs that show an attempt to use that video decoder.
