I've done a lot of searching and trying different guide-type plugins but I'm struggling trying to find what I'm looking for - although I wouldn't be surprised if its right under my nose. All I'm looking for is a way to simply show the movies that are in the current guide. When using something like searchwiz you have to provide something to search on - you can't just use 'movies' as a filter and have it list everything - unless there's a setting or something I haven't found yet. Anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

In SearchWiz,
  • Click on 'Manage Filters'
  • In the Times setting, select 'No Time Restriction'
  • In the Genres list, select 'Movies'
  • Click 'Save'
  • Name it something like 'All Movies'
  • Click 'Save'
Now in the main SearchWiz screen, make sure the Filter is set to 'All Movies'. When you click the Search button, all EPG entries that have the Genre 'Movie' attribute will be listed.

Depending on how many channels you have and how many days are in your EPG, that list could be quite large. I usually create a couple of filters named: Movies on Now, Movies on Today, Movies Starting soon,... and vary the Times setting to limit the list to a more managable number of entries.

Awesome - that's what I'm looking for. I just need to tinker around with it to help limit the time it takes to run. I started without any time restrictions and it seemed to lock up my computer for several minutes. I backed it down to a few days worth and it seems to be working a little better. Could just be my pc - it definitely needs more ram....

Thanks for your help!!!
