That means upgrading the computer wouldn't necessarily fix the problem as I hoped it would :-(
I'm not always right

have you tried with the "Minimal OSD during Playback" option set ? it is the OSD which causes most of the 350's problems.

without "minimal osd" would hang every 5 minutes not every hour or so (in my case mainly when exiting live tv)

Hmmmm...

Ooops, I already ordered a new PC, so I hope it works! I also now just use it to record (through the TV guide) and then watch programmes, but don't watch much live-tv. I have seen though that by using the minimenu on the bottom of the screen (the green button) to scroll through the channels and then change to the one I want to see, that it hangs much less often, because I don't have to change so many channels.

It does seem to hang every now and then anyway, so I generally have to restart the machine once a day, but this could also be due to other stuff.

Maybe I just have to go for a graphics card instead of the TV out... Hmmm...

Not the same drive of your OS and page file. Also did you update to the new version 23.13 also? I know that one has given me hicups and freezing under LIVE TV.
What is "correct size if MFT" ?

Hi,

I'm running on the same physical drive, but on another partition. Would it be more stable if I ran on another physical drive? I have formatted the what-are-they-called to 64K and there should be no fragmentation problem since it's a completely new drive. (Allocation unit?? = 64K. NTFS formatted. ) I believe I have the newest versions of both the drivers for the card and the gbpvr sw.

Thanks and best regards,
Lars

Should I be using an older version of gbpvr instead?

Hi,

Is there a download area where one could get 32.11[Image: rock.gif] Just to try it out?

What does MFT mean???

Is there a noticeable difference between 2.4GHz and overclocked to 2.61? I've bought the same CPU but haven't received it yet.

Regards,

I've now changed to a P4P800 Asus motherboard (Intel Chipset), Pentium 4 2.4GHz CPU, 512 MB Ram. It seems to be a lot more stable now. Will test more and report back if any issues.
