I think I found the answer to this in an old thread (the answer being 'no'), but how much event information can be put out by gbpvr?
All I'm trying to do is put out a text file indicating the current video playing or current song (the song would be icing on the cake, but I really want the video) to a text file for use with LCD smartie for a VFD display.
I'm not really interested in anything like next recording or anything. I couldn't get the iMon plugin to work either, but it's overkill for what I want.
Any ideas?
