Tuner setup info required

Would appreciate any help with this one.

I have the following cards

7010ix 2x analogue 2x DVBT 2x DVBS Recognised as only one of each tuner
Nova T500 2x DVBT. Both tuners recognised

From reading various posts I am guessing at the following setups, not using analogue.

7010ix Named Sat Setup as Card 1 and 2. XMLTV EPG source Astra 28.2
7010ix Named Freeview1 Setup as Card 1 and 2. DVBT EPG source
T500 Tuner 1 Named Freeview2 Setup as card 3. DVBT EPG source
T500 Tuner 2 Named Freeview3 Setup as card 4. DVBT EPG source

I am having some difficulty scanning with this setting, and would be most grateful for any comments on setup.

ISTR the driver for the 7010x appears as one device per mode (possibly a black gold one) with logical device numbers. The Nova driver makes their tuner look like two devices.

So I'd set it up like this (using the names that appear in the device box when "only show devices in the machine" box is ticked).

SAT1 as 7010x dvb-s logical device 1
SAT2 as 7010x dvb-s logical device 2
FV1 as 7010x dvb-t logical device 1
FV2 as 7010x dvb-t logical device 2
FV3 as nova-t-500 (1) logical device 1
FV3 as nova-t-500 (2) logical device 1

Your advice is much appreciated, will give it a go next time I start playing with GB again. Have gone back to MP again for the time being, as unable to scan a single channel in GB, either DVB-T or S.
