Hello,

I currently have a WinTV-PVR500MCE (Dual Tuner). I have two Satellite boxes connected to it, and each has an IR Blaster. Everything on the system works fine, I can record two shows, watch two shows etc etc.

But, something happens when i'm watching livetv and recording that I'm not sure should be happening.

Scenario:

1. Watching Channel1 (LiveTV)
2. Have two recordings scheduled for the same time (Show1 on Channel1, and Show2 on Channel2)
3. Even though I'm already watching Channel1 it kicks me out to the guide when the recordings start. Then I can go back in and say "Play" and i can watch the live recording

Shouldn't the system realise i'm already on Channel1 and to just switch me over to the recording? by the same logic, after the show, if I was already watching Channel1, why not put me back to a live feed of Channel1?

Many thanks

Thats the intended behaviour.

I agree it would be nice to do this, but there are many reason why this is complex, and not likely to be added in the near future.

Sub,

Thanks for the quick answer. Its a shame this cannot be added. I know that Snapstream has been doing this for some time, and this is one feature I do miss.
