I bought a Twinhan DVB-T USB from Maplins. gbpvr recognises it as an AF9015 BDA. I have tuned in many channels but it won't let me record one channel while watching another! Its a dual tuner so it should work like this.

On the back of the USB it says 2-T704J-A3

Did you setup two capture sources? You need to if its a dual tuner device. (ie, to GBPVR a dual tuner device just looks like two single tuner devices)

Just tried that. When I select to record a channel from the EPG and try to watch another it says no tuners are available to watch the requested channel.

I have an AF9015.

I have two sources in Capture Sources. Edit each source and make sure that one has Device Number 1 and the other has Device Number 2.

doh ! :o

Thanks very much.

Next question I need to submit is how to get the remote control to work. It partially works but I can't use the record, pause buttons etc. Any ideas?

Try browsing the wiki for some solutions for setting up different remotes http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Hardware/Hardware

Of course, if someone else here is already using one of those, they'll probably be able to give a better advice regarding the best solutions.

The preferred way is to make your remote control send the commands that GBPVR expects to receive. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with your remote, so, like the others, I can't help you on that.

If your research leads you nowhere, your other option is to change GBPVR so that it expects to receive what your remote can send. For this to work, you need to know what keystrokes your remote is sending (that's a whole other project, but perhaps you already know).

Look in the ...\GBPVR\KeyMappings folder for the xml files that you want to change. IIRC, the format is pretty simple. I've never done this, but I'm pretty sure it will work. Make backups before changing any files.
