Text TV Guide (PVRX2) is scrambled

The text in the TV Guide with PVRX2 is (still) scrambled. I use Amontillado for loading the EPG data. With the old UI however, I don't have scrambled text in the TV Guide (see attached file).

How do I solve this annoying problem in PVRX2?

This is because there is some errors in your xmltv file, with shows at overlapping times.

OK, but why do the text scrambling didn't occur in the old UI?

It had a slightly different way of drawing the each of the programmes in the tv guide, which blanked out the box it was going to draw into each show. The overlaps were still there though.

The reason no one else is reporting it is because they dont have the overlaps in their listings.
