Ok...I had a local drive for the recordings directory so I switched over to use that instead of the UNC share name....no no errors at all in the log file but nothing happens when I click on the folder....no more black screen for a couple of seconds or anything....

There is nothing in the PCHServe log either...just the startup command so no errors there....very strange.

PCHServer craps the bed when I try to run it.....

Did you remember to disable EWA? They try to use the same port.

UJB, could you try the mvpmcx2.zip that I just uploaded, to confirm it works like it should. mono (the PCH player) doesn't like

http://ip:7647/stream?f=\\\\sharename\\p...lename.pls

but it likes the media files from the share just fine

http://ip:7647/stream?f=\\\\sharename\\p...lename.mp3

Fortunately this works (for now) because both mono and GBPVR (at least in Vista) accept this

http://ip:7647/stream?f=//sharename\\pathname\\filename

It's something for sub to keep in mind too.
