I have configured my Hauppauge TV Tuner as one source, and the SVideo input on the card as another.

I have a Video camera hooked up to the SVideo input on the card, but cannot figure out how to switch to the SVideo source in GB-PVR so I can watch the video from the camera.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You'll probably need to use the Add button to manually create channel called something like SVideo.

Okay, this seems kind of awkward to configure, but here's what I did

In config, Capture Sources I clicked Add
Source Name SVideo
Recording Source - Direct Recording Plugin
EPG Source is Zap2It (seems weird that I have to have an EPG for this)
Channel Changer: No Channel Changer required

In the settings for the recording source, I pick my Hauppauge card, country canada, Board # Capture device #1, source SVideo External tuner

Back in the recording source dialog, as you suggested I add a channel called SVid. For channel # I specified 3??

The SVid channel does appear at the end of the guide, but it cannot be selected for some reason?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

It doesnt matter which channel # you give it.

You cant schedule from the TV guide unless you have listing for the channel. Since you dont, you have to use the manual recording feature to schedule any recordings. This will let you select the channel.

Even though this works, its not really what GB-PVR was designed for. If you just want to capture video from your camcorder to disk, you're probably better of using the original Hauppauge WinTV software which was designed for this task.
