Please add an option to open GB-PVR in the secondary display. Perhaps as another checkbox on the General tab of the config program.

I have a GeForce4 card with dualview. Dualview allows me to independantly configure the two video outputs (VGA/DVI or S-Video). It's like having two video cards. I can set the VGA output to my monitor to 1280x1024 and the S-Video output to my TV to 720x480. When using dualview the monitor is my primary display and shows the taskbar and desktop icons and when I run an application it appears in this display. The TV is the secondary display and is treated as an extension of the desktop (to the right).

I can get GB-PVR to show on the TV (secondary display), but it's a hassle. I set the TV to be the primary display, launch GB-PVR full screen and it fills the TV screen, then watch the TV as I switch back to the monitor as the primary display so I get my desktop back.

I can also use the "-pos:" command line option to put GB-PVR over in the secondary display, but only in windowed mode. If I use the full screen option it always appears in the primary display (monitor). I can use the overscan margin of the TV signal to hide the window frame and header, but it's tricky to setup.

If GB-PVR had an option to force it to appear in the secondary display (full screen and windowed), it would work a lot easier with video cards that support two independant video outputs.

ok the code for this would be a much greater hassle than you manually doing it. and sub has more important things to worry about. try searching for alternative drivers, or a program to do this for you, there is probably something out there somewhere.

Its been a while since I used my GeForce4 dual display card with two monitors but was there not an option in the properties of the shortcut of a program to select start on the secondary display? The option came with the install of NVidia's drivers so I could start a program on the secondary monitor.
Look for something like that.
