Howto change IP to FQDN

Hi,
when I stream a video EWA sends a file which tells my PC receiving the stream which IP address and port to use, is there any way I can get EWA to send the FQDN as in hostname instead of the IP address? as the IP address is a private RFC1918 address it would make it much cleaner if I could use a DNS resolvable name instead.

Don't use an IP to access your machine....it is simply using whatever URL base you are using when you access EWA. Get a dynamic IP name from somewhere...there are several free ones out that that people use.

I use DynDns.org......then I just access EWA using my DNS name & port. Most newer routers (last couple of years) provide a way to update your dynamic IP on the various dynamic ip vendors sites automagically.....

Thanks for the reply, I managed to work this out after I had setup my DNS server with correct referrels. so everything working great.
