Fatal error on install, crippled previous version

It was stopped but still present. For some reason that apparently makes a difference. I had never uninstalled GB-PVR on that machine, always just installed over the previous version. I'da thought that MSI would take care of removing what needed to be removed. Then again, Microsoft works in strange and wondrous ways...

maybe you broke the install somewhere along the way with another plugin or the like

export your recordings
copy gbpvr folder to another location (just in case)
uninstall gbpvr and delete the whole devnz folder (may need to restart before it will let you do this)
then install fresh version

Duh! Sorry about that, this worked perfectly many thanks. It took me a while to remember how to resetup all the channels but after a few hours its all working hunky dory. Many thanks!

I must admit that I did try Media Portal, looks very fine but didn't work as well as this. I'm a big fan, how can I help?
