PCh Remote accept Hauppauge remote codes???

Martin it would be a hack but would it be physically possible some how for the pch to accept Hauppauge remote (or other remote) commands?

Although the remote is based on lirc there is no way that I have found to kill the current config or load a new one. What you ask for is even harder because it would have to be in the kernel for mono and amp_test to understand them and there is no kernel source for this.

cool, maybe I should look at a harmony type remote - it's just i find the hauppauge one quite well laid out.

Even as i wrote it i figured you could probably do something about the the remote codes within the gbpvr interface, but the local pch playback would have been impossible...

I prefer it too. It is also PVR oriented (channel up/down etc) as opposed to being a DVD remote, so it probably depends on what you do. At least it has the colour keys for you.
