1 MVP, 2 Servers - does it work?

When the MVP starts up it says "Contacting servers...", i.e., "servers" in plural. What happens if there are two machines running GB-PVR each with the MVP service running? Would the MVP give me a choice of which one to use?

No, it will connect to the first one it finds, at least in my situation, when I had GBPVR running on my laptop for development I had to turn off the MVP servers because it was raising havock when the MVP's was turned on. (not seeing the recordings on the production server)

Has anyone else seen the same?

jquinlan is correct. The MVP will just use the first one to respond to its startup broadcasts.

OK, thanks - I thought that might be the case. I wonder if I can put together a custom task to toggle the services between my two PCs. Hmmm...there's an idea.
