sound in stored DVD files

Having problems with no sound on DVD's played from the hard drive n the last two releases - logs attached. Sound is fine on everything else Thanks - AJ

Its most likely due to the audio decoder you've selected. What ones have you tried?

I've pretty much tried all available - I'll list them in detail tonight when I get a chance.

OK there are 3 options, none of them enable any sound. They are: System default; MPEG decoder; PowerDVD8 decoder. I ran Graphedit on a vob file & it didn't have any sound map, only video. I can play them fine in PowerDVD, but it would be much better to be able to play them within GBPVR.

I think you need another decoder. The 'MPEG Audio Decoder' is unable to play DVDs. The PowerDVD8 audio decoder is only usable from PowerDVD.

There you go - hadn't occured to me that there were no available filters within vista.
