Hi,

GBPVR 1.2.13, finds DVB-T channels and live EPG ok. No picture preview, No live TV, no sound.
Next move, I might try to play a DVD movie.
Might try a GBPVR re-install with all virus and spyware protection turned off.

AverTV works ok (but CPU overloaded on DVB-T). Have tried GBPVR with TV card drivers and with/without AverTV application.

System:
Avermedia Hybrid Speedy DVB-T PCI-e card
Asus EN8600 video card.
AMD Athlon 64 +3500 CPU. 1GB Ram. 250GB HDD.
Win XP Pro SP3.

Have MS VCRedist x86 installed.
Have .NET 3.5 installed. Tried .Net 2 before installing 3.5.

Have DirectX installed too.

Must be missing something or doing something stupid!!

Thanks in anticipation.

Cheers

Enable live preview mode in the config app, and make sure the live tv buffer directory specified in the config app exists.

Also, make sure you have appropriate H.264 video decoder and HE-AAC audio decoders selected in the config app. If you only have 'system default' listed then you post likely dont have the needed decoders installed on your machine.

I am having the same problem with the same make of card and it's driving me mad.
I can't find a he-acc filter for windows 7, it only lists system default, unsure if that is the problem.
Thanks for any assistance.

You'll need to install these codecs. Try ffdshow or Google.

Most people use the Monogram AAC decoder for HE-AAC. http://blog.monogram.sk/janos/2009/03/08...oder-0960/

I thought I had ffdshaw already but just downloaded KLCP 64 bit which had ffdshaw, still nothing under he-aac, only the system default.
Monogram gave a compatibility error when registering the ax.
Thanks in advance again.

ffdshow wont help you for he-aac. You need to install the monogram aac decoder.

If it gives you an error, its probably because youre on Win7/Vista, but not trying to register from a command line started with 'Run as administrator'.

Ran as administrator, I get a regserv32 error the specified module cannot be found.
Ax file is in the system32 folder and I tried with and without the full path to the ax file.
Thanks!

Did you run it from a command prompt started with 'Run as administrator'? I've had no luck when just trying to directly run regsvr32 with 'run as administrator'.

If it says it cant find the specified module, it really sounds like you've got the path wrong, or havnt supplied it, or it has spaces in the path and you've not quoted the entire name.
