OK, I know gbpvr doesn't support multiple servers (yet
), but I use my normal client machine as a test system and it currently has a DVB-S tuner in it that won't as yet fit in the PVR server.
I have been temporarily switching servers for the PCH by changing the number of mvp/nmt devices between 0 and 1 on the main and test machines.
I see from --help with mvpmcx2 that --emulate has an ip address as an argument, I've not seen much mention of this, but could it be used to force the PCH to talk to different servers, both running with mvp/nmt set to 1 or more? If so then my telnet script thingie could pick the server. (runs from HD at present).
No urgency or anything about this, it's just that Wimbledon is on DVB-S HD and 'her indoors' wanted to see it that way..........
