WinXP sp 2,Athlon 3200XP, Hauppage 150 MCE with hauppage remote.

When viewing recording and trying to skip thru the advertisements the program crashes.

Is there a patch or something that I can do to get around this problem?

Thank you for your time.

Best regards,

Paul

I'm not aware of any issues with this. Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Thank you for your reply, attached are my last 2 days log files. The problem happened on the 1st of July in the evening. It crashes about 4 times in a row.

I forgot too mention that I have had this problem since day one. So I have had this issue with previous versions.

I am only running one display which is an analog tv.

Please let me know if you need anymore configuration information or anything else.

Best regards,

Paul

You'll need to set the logging level back to 'debug' and zip and attach the logs again next time it happens.

Also make sure log flushing is enabled in the config app.

Thanks, will do.

Does it matter that I run GBPVR instead of GBPVR2?

Reason for running GBPVR is that it is easier to read than GBPVR2 as I do not have an LCD television.

GBPVR.exe isnt part of the release any more so there isnt going to be much I can do for you.

Some people had problems in the past with holding down the skip key, but found if they changed video decoders the problem went away, so try this first...

You could try running PVRX2 with the Blue-Retro-SHV skin (lots of people seem to be using it) for displaying on a non LCD TV (linked in this thread) http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=34012

or alternatively I believe the latest Community skin has the option to select bigger fonts & is well supported.

Then if you are still having the problem post logs & sub will have a look at it.
