I had been using gbpvr for awhile successfully with my AverMedia combo NTSC/ATSC tuner.
Recently, the digital tuner has stopped working completely. The analog tuner still works, and gbpvr recognizes that there is a digital tuner, but fails to start it up. I know it is not the hardware, because I have tested it in a different system using windows media center, and it works just fine.
I have tried completely uninstalling gbpvr, and the device drivers. When I reinstall, and add the new capture source, it fails to begin scanning for new drivers, and I get a message about the device already being in use. After this dialogue, the scanning window pops up and I get this error:
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue...
The error details begin with this (the full message is too long to post here):
