The perrennial sound problem!

you should have more luck (ish) with the ac3 soundtracked files. But no I've not seen anything to edit the files either.

VideoRedo is working on H.264 ts files but don't know time frame. People have been pushing them for two years! I installed the latest beta and when I tried to import a .ts file, I got a message that it wasn't able to edit H.264 files yet. So this looks encouraging.

My Nero Vision 6 can import our files and it will write a dvd to hdd. The resulting vob file will import into VideoRedo and can be edited and output as a mpeg2 file (with sound!).

Hopefully, VideoRedo will come to our rescue.
