one million $$ question: how to !!!

Hello all,

I'm now to all that....I've been looking around to install something like MythTV, freeVO etc....I'm LOST !!!

First, budget is not an issue, second I live in Montreal, Canada, and have HD. I'm using videotron <for those who know>. I would like to have all the features of a pvr and more ! like watching the bunch of divx movies I have !! I would like to play those HD channels from the cable company..etc

I need to know where to go and what to buy !

any ideas ??

Buy whatever Hauppauge are selling. They seem to be the devices most commonly used by members of this forum and they are well supported by GBPVR.
